I get this kinda error:
When tryng to register it in my asus k533t. But when registrering with my other computer, which is Dell, it registres normaly.
Both files are the same.
Both computers are 32bit.
A couple things to do:
- Run Disk Check with both boxes checked for all HDDs and with Automatically fix file system errors checked for all SSDs. Post back your logs for the checks after finding them using Check Disk (chkdsk) - Read Event Viewer Log
- Run SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker up to three times to fix all errors. Post back if it continues to show errors after a fourth run or if the first run comes back with no integrity violations.
- Re-install the following:
1) Ran the CHKDSK but no log files were stored.
2) Did it four times, still says some file, that cannot be replaced.
3)No help.
1)Do you remember if you got the message "Windows has made corrections to the file system" or did you get the message "Windows has checked the file system and found no problems."
2)Follow OPTION THREE of SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker and the tip enclosed therein.
3)Yeah, I am guessing it is due to 1) or 2) at this point, and it is most likely due to 2).
What were the results of your disk check; what about sfc?
