    oh yeah the only apps that run on the taskbar is utorrent and avg so if that helps

    You have 6 high performance ram sticks. They might need just a little more juice to run stable.

    I'm not saying it is the issue, but you could try it out.
    Don't go further than +0.3 though.

    IMO, the fact that it's freezing means something is not getting enough power. Like squonksc said, up the voltage on your memory in small increments. If that does not work, then you can try upping the voltage to your cpu in small increments as well...


    But then again you said it works great on xp right?

    You have all the latest drivers?

    my system is not overclocked
    and xp64 does run great.
    yes i installed all the newest drivers.

    i went way up my ram voltage when


    i went way up my ram voltage when i set my ai settings in bios to xmp setting
    it made the ram voltage from 1.2 to 1.5 volts lol
