i have win7. so in the os option i chose other because it doesn't have win7. i downloaded ''P5K BIOS 1201'' and in the zip there is this file ''P5K-1201.ROM'' which i can't open. is this the correct update? and if yes how can i run it?
You need to also download the BIOS utilities and run the BIOS update tool in Windows to use the ROM you downloaded. The ROM you downloaded is correct. :)

Try the Vista 64bit ROM. Also, you may need to right click the executable, click properties, and go to the compatibility tab. Run this program in compatibility mode for Windows Vista.
I changed the compability mode to Windows Vista but i am still getting the same message.
Did you run it as administrator? Right click -> Run as administrator.
I run it as an administrator and i get this message : Windows cannot find 'C:\Users\Tolis\Desktop\AFU236U.exe'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again.
