Hi guys, basically I get very frequent BSOD's while doing anything on my computer from gaming, to watching videos and browsing the web. I thought I had a bad stick of RAM because one day my comp wouldn't boot and I took a stick out and everything seemed fine after that. Then I started getting frequent BSOD's so I formatted and re-installed Windows 7 64 bit Ultimate. I am still getting BSOD's at random times. I thought it was my sound card as well because most of the time everytime I go to watch a video as soon as a start it or a few minutes in I will get a BSOD. So I took my sound card out and installed on board sound drivers
and I still get the same thing. I have attached all files needed hopefully somebody will be able to figure out what the problem is. Also I looked at my RAM and saw a kind of white stuff on it when I took it out. It almost looked like white out on the RAM. It was on both sticks the bad and the good one. See the pictures below.
Is Windows 7 . . .
- x86 (32-bit) or x64 ? x64
- the original installed OS on the system? No
- an OEM or full retail version? retail
- What is the age of system (hardware)? 6 years?
- What is the age of OS installation (have you re-installed the OS?) just formatted about a month ago after i started to get BSOD'S
Also, I cannot restart. If I try to restart it will just go to a black screen and hang. I have to shut down and turn it back on to restart. If I try to use the restart button in windows OR the restart button on my physical tower it WILL NOT restart, it just hangs. So when I get a BSOD it won't restart I have to hold down the power button on the tower untill it shuts down.
