random freezing and random bluescreens with various error codes
I've contacted tech support at cyberpowerpc where I bought my computer, but after reading their tech support forums my faith in getting a quick response is kind of low, so I came here as many bluescreen search results lead here and I figure it's probably a good place to get more help.
I've been getting random bluescreens and random freezing for a while now. I can be playing a game, or browsing the internet, or the computer can just be idle with mp3s playing. They often occur after about a day of no issues, though have also occurred right after restarting the computer from the previous bluescreen. I've scanned my computer for viruses and nothing was found. I believe these problems started some time after my computer restarted on its own, but that only happened once. The error codes I've seen on the bluescreens are 0x0000001a, 0x0000004e, and 0x000000de, though the random freezing has occurred just as often as the bluescreens.
I've tried unplugging all of my usb devices and the computer ran for maybe a week without problems. After plugging a usb device back in the problem happened again after a day or so. I have tried different usb devices in different usb ports 1 at a time and the problem seems to happen with all of them. The usb devices I've used are 2 different game controllers and a webcam. The computer ran fine with all of these usb devices plugged in for a month or 2 before this started happening. Is this a coincidence or could this be indicative of the power supply going bad?

From what I've read on the cyberpowerpc forums the extremegear power supply is widely regarded as horrible and a big cause of problems, but I'd like to get more opinions before I go buying stuff expecting it to fix all of my problems. My computer is still under warranty, but if the power supply is the issue they would just replace it with the same brand giving me problems and I would probably be better off in the long run buying something quality and replacing it myself.
