    BlackSOD with cursor.

I was fooling around with a custom logon page. while using a program to remove the branding and move around the location of the logon picture i logged out and it was just black(with cursor). so i tried restarting in safe mode to fix but got the same thing. so if anyone knows a way to fix this with out reloading my entire operating system please let me know.

Use system repair disc (Start...All Programs...Maintenance...Create a System Repair Disc)
Then use System Restore to go back to when it was working
If that doesn't work then try Startup Repair

If that doesn't work then use Command Prompt
Type the following commands - pressing ENTER after each one

    bootrec / fixboot
    bootrec /fixmbr
    bootrec /rebuildbcd

Did this from my phone - please excuse any typos
