this it the error i get every time i start my computer now. i was using it and it did a restart that wasnt prompted or anything and all i did was accept a java update from my eset security. i can load safe mode but dont know what to do in it. i would rather not do a reinstall of windows. You mention windows saying you received an error messege saying Windows Installer is not installed correctly. Please ignore this warning i am almost 99% positive, that this is a Windows Installer Services being turned off while in safe mode. Since safe mode only loads basic functionality.

Anyways sorry but I am sort of dry out of ideas. Please be patient and hopefully another member is kind enough to reply and assist you.

What were the results of the disk check? Is your system able to boot normally now?
