BSOD after computer has been up for days, also when using WMC

This computer is a home built HTPC. I've been experiencing crashes for the past few months when watching movies and recorded TV using my tuner card. Also, when the computer has been up for a few days. Sometimes I see that it has tried to repair itself but it never can. After I shut the computer down for a day or 2, it'll come back up. I can go for quite awhile without any crashes if I shut down the computer every night, but I'd like to be able to leave it up, worry free.

    System Specs:

    Intel Core 2 Duo E7500 @ 2.93Ghz
    4 gig of ram
Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit OEM version (original OS installed)
    Hardware Age: ~1 year
OS Install Age: Maybe 6 months

    I appreciate the help!

    Hello moogs, welcome to SevenForums!

A few different errors in each dump, but there are multiple traces of memory management and memory corruption, so the first thing I want you to do is download and run Memtest!

*Download a copy of Memtest86 and burn the ISO to a CD using Iso Recorder or another ISO burning program. Do note that you can ALSO put Memtest86 on a flash drive if you don't have access to CDs.

*Boot from the CD, and leave it running for at least 5 or 6 passes.

Just remember, any time Memtest reports errors, it can be either bad RAM or a bad motherboard slot.

Test the sticks individually, and if you find a good one, test it in all slots.

Any errors are indicative of a memory problem.

If a known good stick fails in a motherboard slot it is probably the slot.
Out of date driver(s) that need to be updated:

AsIO.sys - Mon Dec 17 04:11:49 2007 (Asus PCProbe Utility). Can be updated here.

PhilMAS64.sys - Mon Nov 03 22:19:50 2008 (Compro Technology -PCTV). Can be updated here.

Please follow ePeen's advise as to running Memtest
    Memtest86 - Run for 7-8 passes - RAM - Test with Memtest86+

A couple crashes are being blamed on Symantec drivers. Please uninstall and replace with MSE for testing purposes

Oh I forgot to mention, going through my update history, I see that many updates are failing.

    KB2660465
    KB2378111
    KB2564958
    KB2345886

Just to name the recent ones. I don't know if I'll be able to get SP1 if I'm having these issues.

Did someone delete my new updated posts? Anyways...

I ran memtest and it was giving me a screen full of errors. So I took out each stick and ran memtest, trying to see if it was just one of the sticks of ram. They both seemed okay so I reseated both and ran memtest again. That seemed to solve the memory issue, until it started happening again a few days later. Someone replied saying it might be the motherboard? Is trying a different motherboard my only option? Thanks!

Getting a new motherboard may be the only option. Have you checked that the RAM is securely in place? If you have bad snap fits, you can sometimes end up with the RAM being vibrated out of place due to a cooling fan. Avoid Static Damage to Your PC when inside of the machine.
