To repeat... please advise what Anti Virus software you are running.

Avast? No, I did that the first day I installed Windows onto my computer. Which was about a month and a half ago. It's been a while since I've installed anything onto the HDD.

Thank you for your reply. i have no anti virus soft on the system with BSoD. i just use vmware for my internet. and theres no anti virus soft on that eather.

Thank you for your reply. after i came home i had another BSoD. it was 0x00000001 and it is the one that is most frequent. also some time after i got 0x0000003B.

i will work on your advice for the others now

Edit: updated vmware and not long after got another BSoD. oh dear its not looking good dump added...

If you dont need it dont load it. If you absolutely need it re-install it in compatibility mode.
