I was thinking this myself. altough i have so much installed i will have to dedicate a good day to install again and i havnt had all my questions answed yet so im just awaiting really.

I have had some BSoD with a clean install and my quess is that that can only be eather hardware or corrupt windows files.
I have not long done a memtest and got no errors so i just wanted to know about my dmp files before i take the leap and do a clean install (with the help of your tips this time)

Ok we have suggested you remove mafw (the audio driver) its still loaded. We have asked you to update to SP-1 and you have not.

We will wait until you do before helping you further

Sorry zigzak i didnt mean any halm. I did fully uninstall the m-audio driver via windows uninstall before the dmp file but when i looked in the system32 drivers the mafw.sys was still there so im sorry for that but ive now deleted it.

Ive also downloaded and installed the system readiness tool 64 bit and installed Windows 7 SP1.

Now i guess its a matter of wait and see?

also the EMUXMIDI.sys driver i uninstalled still shows up in "driverstore/FileRepository/amd64" ..... will this be ok? as i canot delete it.

Thank you for your time so far it is much appreciated

I decided to re-install Windows 7 as im determined to get to the bottom of these BSoD's.

Im using windbg, Blue Screen View and Google to lead me in the right direction but im still having trouble as i have minimal experience.

Latest gpu, mobo drivers installed and updated to SP1 plus winrar, media portal, rocket dock and power iso are the only things installed but havnt uninstalled yet incase there the cause.
