BSOD while streaming Amazon Instant Video To TV, BCCode 3b

My laptop crashed and showed a BSOD in the middle of streaming video from Amazon to my TV via the HDMI port. It is not the first time I have gotten a BSOD, just the most recent.

Problem signature:
Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.256.1
Locale ID: 1033

Additional information about the problem:
BCCode: 3b
BCP1: 00000000C0000094
BCP2: FFFFF88003EE0827
BCP3: FFFFF88006767440
BCP4: 0000000000000000
OS Version: 6_1_7601
Service Pack: 1_0
Product: 256_1

Files that help describe the problem:
C:\Windows\Minidump\022212-19858-01.dmp
C:\Users\Chas\AppData\Local\Temp\WER-34819-0.sysdata.xml

The laptop is about 4 months old.
I upgraded from OEM Windows 7 Home Premium x64 to Ultimate 7 x64 right when I got it.

I believe I have attached the suggested information, but I would be happy to add anything else.

Two issues.

1-Your video driver. Re-install newest version available

2-Kaspersky

Kaspersky is a frequent cause of BSOD's. I would remove and replace it with Microsoft Security Essentials AT LEAST TO TEST

3 / 4 dumps have a specific driver as a probable cause, the fourth has ntkrnlmp.exe as the fault, but that's most likely because it could not read the faulting driver that dump. Regardless, let's take care of those drivers!

1st dump driver - igdkmd64.sys (Intel Graphics driver). Uninstall your graphics drivers and install the latest here.

2nd dump driver - tdx.sys. If a BSOD is caused by the following driver, it's usually forced to do so by either Kaspersky or Norton, after looking at your drivers list, you indeed have Kaspersky installed. Please uninstall Kaspersky using the following instructions.

You may install Microsft Security Essentials now JUST FOR TESTING!

3rd dump driver - NETIO.sys. This may have been caused by Kaspersky, but regardless, I'd recommend updating your network drivers. Assuming you have Intel related network drivers (just like graphics), they can be updated here as well.

Edit: Haha, my good man beat me to it!

Removed Kaparsky first. No issues. The remover tool at the provided link worked great.

Next, I ran the Intel Driver Update Utility from the Intel link provided. The utility told me that my graphics driver was up to date but my WiFi driver was outdated. It listed the graphics product as Intel Processor HD Graphics 3000 with the current driver 8.15.10.2509. On Intel's site, the date shown is 9/3/2011.

However, when I browsed through the menu Graphics > Laptop graphics controllers > Intel HD Graphics > Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit, a newer option was available. The version is 8.15.10.2622.

I couldn't tell if that one worked with my system and the Auto Utility hadn't updated, or if that was for a newer version of similar hardware.

I just un-installed and re-installed the same version that I had (8.15.10.2509) assuming the utility knew best.

I then installed the updated WiFi drivers.

Re-booted with no issues so far. Installing Microsoft Security Essentials right now.

I will attempt to replicate the scenario from last night to see if I get any more BSODs.

Thanks for the quick help and guidance through this.

I was able to stream video several times over the weekend without any issues, so I consider this to be fixed. No other issues have appeared in the meantime.

Thanks for all your help, everyone.
