I checked them out on the website, but it appears that they only have the option to download AI Suite II V1.01.30 from 2011.05.26 where as i have V1.01.34... im so confused!

Have you tried removing AI Suite altogether?

Hi there!

Apologies for the late reply! I had thought about it but it's such a useful utility, I can very happily report that the system seems to be stable and running my bro's games silky smooth. We haven't come close to the "update" button since last time but we have adjusted the fan speeds etc. I guess we will see what happens when we next update the motherboard drivers!

Thanks for all the help, this forum is incredible and will recommend it to anyone who is having trouble with there PC

All the best

Tom

Glad the system is running stable. Keep us updated for the next few weeks, and best wishes it is resolved.

Also, since adjusting fan speeds helped, make sure dust has not accumulated on the components causing more heat to generate. I've had that problem a few times, myself. Finally bought an electronics air duster that plugs into the wall so I do not have to keep buying cans of compressed air, and my systems all run flawlessly and cool now. Just thought I'd mention the possibility of dust buildup in case you had not checked.
