Laptop endless spinning / BSOD on start up - BAD_POOL_HEADER "<3"

    Hello Sevenforum!

I am in dire need of your help! I seem to be in a pinch..!
Was working on a presentation on the laptop and had Firefox, Dropbox and Word opened when suddenly Word when "Not responding", switches to Firefox and surf for a bit when that and Dropbox turns "Not Responding" and then BSOD happened :S

Tried rebooting but got a "endless" spinning "Logging In" screen and then Windows crashed to a BAD_POOL_HEADER

I tried doing as much as you required as possible but I couldn't run a System Health Report

    ASUS K53SV-SX393V

    Windows 7 Home Premium x64
    Original Installed OS
    OEM

    Intel Core i5 2410M
    NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M
    6GB RAM(?)
    500GB HDD

Reinstalled 3 months ago I think.

Like an idiot I never burned a Recovery Disk, the laptop never came with a recovery CD, its on the drive D:\ :3 and apparently I have no system restore points either

    Hope you can help me!

    Hi!

The latest dump file shows iaStor.sys as the culprit (Intel Storage Drivers). I'd recommend updating them here.

Could you be a bit more specific? :3 Don't quite know what I am looking for? Is it a chipset driver, something with the harddisk driver?

Tried running the "Run Intel® driver update utility" but it wont work in safe mode :S
Update: Safe Mode just crashed into a 0x0F4, trying to get dump as we speak :S
Update 2: For some reason I got booted into "normal mode" and Windows is working but you can deff' tell that it is slower than usual.
WinUpdate came up and wanted to install a "intel management engine" update of some sort so I'm installing that..
Update 3: That did not go to well - see photo :/

Sounds like your HDD is on its way out, my friend.

Yep its dead.. Tried reinstalling Windows but the Install program cant even detect the drive... Shame for a 4 month old laptop Might as well mark this as "solved". Thanks for trying.. In the end I just f**cked it more up
