    random BSOD (pool corruption)

my dell studio 1555 laptop has been consistently crashing since the past 2 months. On most occasions it never dumps the reason for hanging in any dump file. luckily this time it has. i have the analysed dump file but cannot seem to understand the cause. i have run a memtest which ran without errors for one pass.
here are the details of the memory dump.
    any help would be appreciated.

    specs:
    windows 7 ultimate x64
laptop originally came with windows vista which was 2 years ago
windows 7 was installed in march 2011, and reinstalled in feb 2012 hoping to solve the BSOD

Avast can be a contributing cause of BSOD'S . Please remove and replace with Microsoft Security Essentials AT LEAST TO TEST
