There is one thing I didn't see in my skim over the posts here.

Do you have fans in that case?
Are they all plugged in and working properly?
These really are temps I would expect to see if someone put a high end card in a dell box with no proper ventilation.

Yep, all 4 fans are working good. It's quite a nice case but acts like a vacuum(sucks in a lot of dust), but is pretty clean inside right now since i de-dusted it recently.
Im pretty sure it gets good airflow.

What is Nvidia HD audio driver for? It asks to install it every time i install graphics driver, but i don't understand why an audio driver is included with drivers for a graphics card. I use my auzentech prelude sound drivers, and i don't want them being hindered by anything, i have a sound issue where i randomly get a loud static buzzing sound through the speakers/headphones sometimes. Though perhaps this was causing it so left HD audio out this time.

Hmm, i was looking at the OCCT video card test, i says "Monitor your GPU temperatures. If you see artifacts, or the temperature of your GPU exceeds 80C, stop the test."

Is it unsafe/give some sort of error if i run the computer with the side pannels removed? If i opened the side pannels, and let the mess of cables at the bottom hang out it, this would all increase airflow right? If the card still ran at the same temperature then, it would rule out my case/air flow being the problem?
Though, vir gnarus said earlier, after i posted sensor tests: "Your GPU even outs to 80C at high load. From what I'm reading online this seems to be a pretty good stable temperature and it means your fan is doing its job keeping it from going any higher. I personally can't see how this would be an overheating problem"

    Vir Gnarus said:
I want to add, I noticed that at the time you posted the JCGriff Report, it said you were already using up around half your 4GB of RAM. These issues can be caused by RAM exhaustion (especially since much if not all graphics activity involves nonpaged pool, which can only be attached to RAM, never to paging file on disk). Windows 7 sets a maximum of nonpaged pool on RAM to 75% of the total RAM. If this gets exhausted, then these problems occur. There may be a process that's hogging memory and taking up nonpaged pool. These are potential causes, so don't rule out the GPU.
Whats a JCGriff report and how do i make sure nothings taking too much ram? Can i check how much ram is being taken up right now?

Should i change the fan settings on the card?(idk how to do that). Maybe it is finding it tough running 2 monitors, also i run aero..

Oh i wonder if this is the problem im having: http://www.geeks3d.com/20100407/gefo...g-your-system/

I think ill update the bios now rather than later
Rly nervous about doing it though.

Seems other people having similar problem here: http://forums.nvidia.com/index.php?showtopic=166957
They talk about the power management not working properly in win7. I noticed when i opened GPU-Z that the gpu temp(while idle) was 77C, but the fan was only 45%, i think this could be much higher to give lower temp.

Is there a bios on the graphics card? :S

I tryed running 1 monitor only, and the card idles under 55C, and under load(playing SC2, hovers around 80C). That's with fan speed 40%@idle and around 50% under load.

I want to note that while it may "suck in a lot of dust", the reason that dust would accumulate in your system quickly would be if the airflow in your system has a heavy input of outside air but low output of inside air. This can cause heating issues within the interior of the case, especially since it'll quickly build dust in your system which will make matters worse.

As for figuring out how much RAM/VM is being used, the best option is again with HwInfo logs as it'll produce RAM and VM usage as well as voltage, load, etc. I did go back and check the last HwInfo logs you provided, and during high load I noticed your RAM usage was continuing to swell well into the end of the 45-minute session, with no alleviation in sight. Virtual memory (paging file) saw slight release at the end, but it's RAM we're most concerned about. At 45-minutes it was seeing like 70% load and was continuously climbing.

I'm currently trying to determine what's the best means of logging exact processes and all that's using up data. You could use the Performance or Resource Monitors (preferably Resource) to watch processes and your overall memory usage time from time when running something of high load, but I don't believe this is a reliable compromise. I'll look into it.

Thanks for replying again. Iv started to think kaspersky internet security is linked to causing the bsod, since i haven't had any lockups since i uninstalled it, and it is a resource hog i think, so it might be taking up too much of my ram..

I loaded memtest86 on a cd and am gonna run it overnight tonight.

    I ran memtest86, 8 passes without error.

So far with Kaspersky uninstalled you've had no problematic symptoms? Kaspersky should not exhibit such resource-intensive behavior unless it harbors a memory leaking bug of some kind or something else is interfering with it and causing a conflict that would create such behavior. Have you made sure to keep the Kaspersky software up to date?

Yep, i just checked event viewer to confirm it, no bugchecks/unexpected shutdowns since the 12th of this month.
Yep, iv been using kaspersky 2012.
Iv been using kaspersky for years also(had this bsod problem for a long time too).

I think something may be conflicting with it and causing it to produce abnormal behavior. Though without knowing what's conflicting it (you may need to talk to their support team and browse their support forums), you may need to end up resorting to another AV solution (free MSE works fine, as well as Avast if you prefer something with more features).

Don't be so sure, sometimes the virtual drivers for a antivirus just don't work with a specific system. I have seen it often. Rather than starting down the path of blaming everything in creation other than the software/hardware/person that caused the problem is just going to lead you down a endless road of debugging.

See this is the reason I don't fanboy stuff. Every single hardware/software I have ever known has managed to mess up someone's computer. No matter how stable it was on the 25-50 before...
