BSOD when using uTorrent on 64Win7

[FONT="Century Gothic"]Hey all, thanks in advance for any help or hints!

I seem to be getting BSODs when running uTorrent.
This has only started recently. (last few weeks)
Usually this is when i leave it on schedule mode, set to download overnight.
Today I have tested and found that with schedule turned off and uTorrent running, BSODs still occur.

This is driving me nuts! I cannot be sure it is uTorrent, but it seems to only happen when it's open and downloading.

I am currently running dskchk for bad sectors but as this is a second HDD supplied by the laptop maker, i'm doubt i'll find any problems.

OEM Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit
I have updated uTorrent in the recent weeks/FONT]

Thanks Zigzag, that is good to know, but I'm having troubles finding an update for it.
Google spams me with the usual *.* filename generated sites etc...

Any idea what this file is for or where I can update it?

    *Edit*
Found an update setup, going to try it now. Thanks again.

Try looking for a bsod reader, it should tell yo what file/exe/anything is causing it.. (fixed mine because of it, i also get bsodnwith utorrent and the problem was my wlan card driver)

Hmmn... I've managed to find and uninstall the software using tvicport64.sys , but i'm still getting BSODs.
Strangely this still seems to onlly happen when uTorrent is open.

I'm using an acer aspire 4820tg with windows home premium 64bit. I've got a second monitor and a few usb hard drives plugged in but not much else...

Anyone have any ideas? This is confusing me a lot!

    thanks

I would recommend posting your latest crash reports and letting us take a look. There may be new information to help narrow things down.

Due to the crash being network related, I am inclined to conclude the problem is due to avast! Please remove avast! using the avast! uninstall utility and replace with either or the I am not 100% sure it is avast! causing the crashes, but it is a good idea to replace it at least to test.
