I have a windows 7 Toshiba Satellite Laptop that originally came with Vista, I upgraded it to windows 7 Retail version. Once a day it crashes with the BSOD. I've upgraded most of the drivers from the toshiba website.
Any help is appreciated
These point to hard disk or hard disk controller problems. Are you using any special transfer software, backup software, indexing software, etc.?Code:

I would recommend that you run Disk Check with both boxes checked for all HDDs and with Automatically fix file system errors checked for all SSDs. Post back your logs for the checks after finding them using Check Disk (chkdsk) - Read Event Viewer Log
Also, run the long and short tests using SeaTools to make sure the hard drive is not faulty.
