    Cold boot BSoDs and more

I have been experiencing BSoDs for over a year now.
they usally happens in the first couple of boots everyday (heard it is called cold boot error)

and lately it happened with me while playing hardcore games

I tried reinstalling win many times and formating the whole HDD but no use.

I think the problem is related to my ram cuz sometimes when I rmove them and put them in the motherboard again the problem is solved for some time and sometimes nothing happens at all, and when I run memtest86 it gave me a hell 3M error one time and the other time it gave me 9 passes and 0 errors

By the way sorry for the bad english

    I have win 7 pro x86
    full retail version
I bought this computer more than 4 years ago, II had my motherboard fixed before and changed some ICs in it (I think over restarting the computer due to BSoDs caused it)
The last time I installed win7 was 1 month ago

The discrepancies in how your memtests are showing could be caused by a faulty power supply, which can fluctuate in its power output and cause unexpected hardware problems. The motherboard could also contribute to this.

Have you swapped sticks and tested them all on each solitary slot? You may have a bad memory slot or two, in which case it'd be the motherboard that would need replacing. If you want my honest opinion, though, I'd say the power supply is to blame.

Do you have your system overclocked? If so, reset to factory defaults. In addition, check for any BIOS updates, and also check the website for your motherboard manufacturer to confirm if the RAM you have present is compatible with that mobo.

    Hi all.

IMO is also a good idea to remove avg from the system.

And download\install Microsoft Security Essentials with windows firewall enable.

    Just my 2 cents. :)

Most recent rwo crashes Related to ZTEusbnmea.sys USB Modem/Serial Device Driver from ZTE Incorporated.. Yours is from 2010. I would remove it to test.

    Hi nrafa,

After following the advice given above, let's look at your RAM.

Your crashes can be caused by several things adding up, the above advice will help to narrow them down.

First, can you post your System Specs?
Use these links to find your system specs.
    Speccy Free System information Utility

D/L CPUZ and post a snip of the CPU, Mainboard, Memory, and SPD tabs.
For posting the information , enter 'Snipping tool' in the Start button > Search box, hit enter. Select the area you want to post and save to a convenient place.

Have you been checking your temperatures?
Use Core Temp, to check the CPU temps when at idle, under load and/or testing.
Let us know the minimum and maximum temps you get.

Go to your BIOS and tell us what the CPU, RAM and the CPU integrated memory controller voltages are, these are important, need them to adjust the RAM settings.

    Hopefully you found the cause.

Did you try to get a new LAN driver?
