You should run another disk check. This time, just run with Automatically fix file system errors checked. The previous check shows that Windows made corrections to the file system.

Alright, looks clean then. Are you still having freezes/crashes? It's up to you whether you want to continue with hardware testing or just get a new PC.

Thank you very much for your help writhziden

Can I conclude the following:
- All the test I've done so far shows that there is zero to very low chance that there is a driver/software problem on my computer
- My computer probably has a hardware problem
- If I start the hardware tests (that you posted earlier about coretemp etc), I'm going to try detecting which hardware part is malfunctioning and to fix it a replacement will be needed

If my summary is correct I think I'm going to buy a new computer, still undecided about this.

Another question would be, is there a logic hardware that is malfunctioning? I mean I get constant BSOD/freeze/PC can't startup always during cold boot and it last usually 30 minutes, it keep crashing/bsod/freeze. But once it works, the computer will never crash untill next cold boot.

From your experience, what are the common hardware that causes this kind of problem?

Cold boot hardware issues are very difficult to diagnose. They can be due to something as simple as needing to change some voltage settings for the RAM/CPU. They can also indicate a bad component: typically CPU, RAM, or PSU. They can also be due to graphics cards or other PCI cards. usasma, one of our best BSOD experts, has a guide on another forum related to determining hardware causes: Hardware Troubleshooting Via System Stripdown

For the RAM timings and voltages...
  • Download and install CPU-Z and Upload screenshots of the CPU, Mainboard, Memory, and SPD tabs. In the SPD tab, upload an image of each slot.

Also, go into your BIOS and post all Voltages (CPU, RAM, NB, IMC, etc.) and all RAM settings (timings, frequency, etc.)

If I manage to find the time to try usasma's troubleshooting I'll post it. I was planning to replace this old computer sooner or later anyway. I don't want too spend much money to fix this computer.
