ok before i start this, i uninstalled nvidia software/driver but even when i restart in safe mode it auto installs a 275 driver which aint latest in safe mode, so do i need to unhook ethernet cord and stop that and start over again?
Eh went ahead and restarted without ehternet cord and started over but something poped up about Gadget not advalible in safe mode when i hit clean but dont think that would affect anything.

K GPU test is running, temps are above normal when i game usally so whats the shutoff point? its staying around 67-71 but more so in 68-69. whats the danger zone ?
I also just left the default settings, like i didnt change the screen resoulution to match my own cuz it didnt say was needed so hope that dont affect anything different.Last edited by Slider6996; 10 Mar 2012 at 21:00.

Ok ran the GPU test and MEM test, both said no errors but here is the results, both are in this zip.
Rdy for next step to check and also, i ran the DX update thing but it said my version was already up to date and nvidia drivers were installed succesfully this time i might add and no weird 7zip crc error this time so thats good news.

In the occt results i can see an overclock.
Did you followed all these steps in the correct order?
I dont think so.
In this order,
Do you overclock anything? if yes stop and set everything back to defaults settings.
Did you had make any changes with RivaTuner? If yes set everything back to default setting then remove riva from your system.
Download and install the Driver Sweeper.
Download the most recent software\driver for your NVIDIA .
Uninstall nvidia software\driver,restart in safe mode,run driver sweeper,choose only NVIDIA-Display and clean,restart in normal mode.
Install the new nvidia software\driver,restart.
Update DirectX .
Run the nvidia-video-card-test post here the results.
During the test Monitor your GPU temperatures. If you see artifacts, or the temperature of your GPU exceeds 80C, stop the test.
And this time let the test to run a little more,dont stop the test in few seconds.
