BSOD after purchasing game on Origin

    Windows 7 Enterprise
    -32bit
-age of system: About 3 and a half month old
-age of OS: About 3 and a half months old (never reinstalled)

So I've just purchased NFS Hot Pursuit(the new one) from the Origin client. Right after the purchase I get these weird lines appear on screen(small maybe a couple pixels straight across the screen). Then I get a BSOD and a restart. I think it may be because of MSI Afterburner, but if that is the problem I need to use a different software that can support custom fan profiles/settings for my GPU. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the reply. I have considered replacing Avira with another antivirus software but I just don't know which one to replace it with.
I tried to find an update for Stor Filter driver but I haven't found any, I'll continue searching for it.

We recommend replacing your Avira with Microsoft Security Essentials.

Thanks for the suggestion but I have a couple of questions before I move to this antivirus.
    - Can it block programs from accessing the internet (online protection) and allow others (and/or block IP addresses)?
    - Can it block harmful websites(automatically from a seperate database and/or manually)?
I know it doesn't have it's own Firewall but that's alright. I was comparing it with Avira since it had a lot of useful features that are useful. Thanks in advance.

    With due respect...
Regarding your questions - have you done a Google Search?

You sought advice re a BSOD.

One part of the advice given was to remove Avira.
We suggest using MSE for testing purposes as it rarely is implicated in BSOD's.

Your choice to follow said advice ... or not!

Yeah I did do a Google search on the questions I had for MSE and I didn't get much results, that's how I found out that it doesn't have it's own firewall. I'm not saying that I don't want to take your great advice but I just wanted to get more info before switching to it, even if it is for a test. Thanks again.
