I need further info about the RAM timings.
  • Download and install CPU-Z and Upload screenshots of the CPU, Mainboard, Memory, and SPD tabs. In the SPD tab, upload an image of each slot.

Also, go into your BIOS and post all Voltages (CPU, RAM, NB, IMC, etc.) and all RAM settings (timings, frequency, etc.)

Thanks to Dave76 for help learning RAM Stability

Uploading screen shots now, as well as another BSOD report. 2 new reports.

I have my motherboard manual out, but I'm having a lot of trouble finding the voltages in BIOS. Most of my stuff is set to [Auto], I can't seem to find something that just tells me the voltages outright. Any suggestions on where I could find this? After this post, gonna try to google some more.

Your RAM is overclocked for an AMD board. AMD hardware does not do well with frequencies above 667 MHz without some BIOS setting tweaks for voltages and RAM timings. There is also question as to whether AMD hardware will support XMP RAM.

Here is what I would suggest to start: Change your RAM settings to manual and set your first four timings to 9-9-9-24 and manually set the frequency, if you have the option to do so, to 667 MHz. See if the system runs more stable.

Will do. Do you think it had anything to do with my CPU failing the Prime95 test? Or should that be RMA'ed?

Yes, Prime95 tests the CPU and memory, so it could very well be related. I would not worry about RMA'ing the CPU at this time.

This is driving me insane, my BIOS isn't making this easy. I've looked on asus' forums for help with their BIOS and I have the manual out. So far I have the TCL TRCD TRP and TRAS set to 9-9-9-24 respectively, but I'm not seeing any place to change it from 2T to 1T. Also, the memory overvoltage is set to 1.5V right now. Keep it there?

Also, I don't see a place to change the frequency to 667, but I'm looking.

Keep the command rate at 2T and keep the memory voltage at default settings.

Your RAM does not have DC Mode: Unganged as it should for AMD hardware. You are running Intel RAM in an AMD board which is definitely going to cause issues. I should have caught that in the first set of CPU-Z shots.

I was unaware this was intel RAM. I read the link, makes sense. My RAM is 1600, and I have it set to that, should I decrease it to 1333? Or should I change the voltages, like Dave76 recommended to stabilize?

G. Skill was supposed to be compatible, is there any AMD friendly RAM that I could take a look at? I can always sell these sticks on Craig's list or something.

BSOD (multiple codes) or screen freeze at idle/gaming/anything
Various BSODs: 7e, 1a, a, 0, 50 (this one with Driver Verifier on), and some others I've forgotten (old dumps wiped but pointed to ntoskrnl.exe). So I've been dealing with this problem for a few months now. I first suspected a RAM problem, but the problem persisted even when replacing it with...

BSOD while gaming, multiple errors
I've been getting BSOD's quite a lot recently. It only seems to happen while gaming. I put in a new graphics card a couple of weeks ago, the one I took out was fairly old so I couldn't play many games with it. I've been looking at the error codes but I don't think it's the same one every time,...
