Windows 7: BSOD after .dll error, desktop boots to black screen with a cmd prompt

You're right, the .dll came up in the malware scan. So far it's running fine but the loading is EXTREMELY SLOW on startup. I get the welcome screen and then it goes into a black screen with a mouse. Then a command prompt comes up briefly before disappearing. Then the start up menu appears but the screen is still black. THEN the icons and desktop finally loads. Do I need to defrag or something?

You may still be infected, or the infection may have corrupted files.
