thank you, hope this works
Re-install the Trusteer Ltd. software. Then uninstall it using Fix problems with programs that can't be installed or uninstalled
See if that can clean up the mess in device manager.
installed it, and uninstalled using link, but all exactly the same
Any idea when it started? Possible to do System Restore to before it happened?
I did not know anything was up till this afternoon it just went into blue screen, and posted here then after trying to decipher the screen dumps i posted in post 2 i came across this rapport thing and just assumed it was the trusteer thing, then found this in device manager, it may have naff all to do with the screen dump, i dont really know very much, just trying to work out why it blue screened
to be honest i am confused to what i am trying to fix
I understand. :)
I would recommend running system restore OPTION ONE from the link in my previous post. Go back to before today and see if it resolves your troubles.
Have you had any other blue screen crashes prior to today or since the one you uploaded?
only ever had the one blue crash and that was over a month ago, you helped me on that one https://www.sevenforums.com/crashes-d...ue-screen.html
will do a system restore, and see what happens
Have done a system restore, rapport back in control panels>programmes and features, but as for the rapportbuka in device manager everything is the same as it was, grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
I would not worry about it unless your system performance is suffering. The only things I can suggest at this time are:
- Run SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker up to three times to fix all errors with a restart in between each. Post back if it continues to show errors after a fourth run or if the first run comes back with no integrity violations.
- Backup all important data (just in case; it should not be affected by this step) and Repair Install Windows 7.
