    BSOD while general Use and Playing Minecraft

    Hello,
    I have been having BSOD for a while now. It happens during extended general use, or when playing games (really only minecraft). However, when I turn the power settings to "Power saver" I do not usually get a crash (not as far as i remember anyhow). But I would rather not have to use that mode, because it makes using more than one window at a time slow, and severely impacts game performance.

    Here are the Sys Specs:
    Windows 7;
    x64;
    Is the Original Install (however it is dual booted with Linux mint 12, but I was having the same problems before then as well);
    OEM version;
    Laptop Is about 3 years old (but has had similar problems for a year and 1/2(about));
    4 gigs RAM
    500gig HD

    I attached a zip with the stated files from the forum rules as well as the last 5 .dmp files (I don't know how to open them or know what to do with them if i could open them).

    Thank you very much for your time to help.

    atikmdag.sys may be the cause of your problem. It is a system driver related to ATI Radeon graphics cards. Update your graphics driver from the below link.
    Latest AMD Catalyst Video Driver for Windows 7

    I note that you are using either AVG or Avira anti-virus. At least to test, uninstall it and install MSE (Microsoft Security Essentials) instead.
    Microsoft Security Essentials - Free Antivirus for Windows

    Make sure all Windows updates are installed including the latest Service Pack.

    I went ahead and did Everything you suggested, and it seemed good for about a day. But yesterday and today my computer still managed to crash.
    Yesterday the stop error was 0x 0000001e
    Today it was 0x 0000007e

    Thanks again for your help, and any more suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
