The latest crash was caused by the GID Desktop application through Comcast Constant Guard. Recommend contacting Comcast's support for the issue. Based on a Google search, it may be a common problem and disabling the GID Desktop application portion of Comcast Constant Guard seems to be a step to resolve it.

I also note that your Realtek Ethernet drivers are out of date. This may actually be contributing to the GID Desktop application crash since that application is network related. Please use System Info - See Your System Specs as a guide to fill in your system specs on your profile (not in a post in this thread) so we can help you find the appropriate drivers for your Ethernet device.

Your wireless card drivers are also out of date. Your system specs may help in that regard, as well.

If you have a laptop that is not custom built, provide the vendor (HP, Dell, etc.) and the model number. I see that it is an HP DV4 notebook PC, but I do not see what the full model is...

My laptop is not custom built the full name is HP Pavilion dv4-1435dx Entertainment Notebook PC. I uninstalled Constant Guard Protection Suite. I really hope I can get this solved before Diablo 3 comes out! I don't know if the drivers will effect the game.

So are you now running without security software installed?

If Norton was removed with the Comcast Security software, I recommend either of these two setups:Download and install the security setup of your choice, update the software, and then run a full scan of your system for viruses and malware. If you only install MSE, I would also suggest installing and updating Malwarebytes : Free anti-malware, anti-virus and spyware removal download, but do not start the free trial/full version of Malwarebytes. Run a full scan with Malwarebytes after updating it. Post back the results.
