Is your wireless enabled via the switch on the computer itself? I know this is probably a silly question, but I want to make sure I cover all bases.

Also, have you tried right clicking the network connection icon and clicking Troubleshoot Problems?

Yes the wireless is on (blue light). It's orange when its off.

When I right click on the wireless network and click troubleshoot/diagnose I get this:

"Troubleshooting couldn't identify the problem"

Below that there is a link that says "View detailed information" When I click on that it says:

"There might be a problem with the driver for the wireless network adapter"

"Windows couldn't automatically bind the IP protocol stack to the network adapter"

I would recommend an SFC /SCANNOW as described in my previous post (3 times or once if it comes back with no integrity violations). The link is also in my previous post for a tutorial on how to run the scan and what to do if it shows errors.

Let us know the results.

Question....I know the link says 3 times. Are you supposed to continue running the scan and rebooting until it no longer says that it is finding errors, even if its more than 3 times?

Thanks

If you get errors still on a 4th run, and have rebooted after each run, then post back your sfcdetails.txt file (you may have to compress (zip) the file first). The details to obtain the sfcdetails.txt file is in OPTION THREE of SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker

It appears you have a bit of corruption still happening. See steps 1. through 3. of Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 to obtain the appropriate Windows installation media for your license. Then proceed to Repair Install Windows 7.
