Random lock ups, freezes during a download and memory timing question

Hello

OK so about 1-2 months ago I got a New CPU and RAM (RMA cuz old ones caused BSOD) so now I em noticing that I get random freezes when I restart (forced to manually shut down) and when I'm downloading this 1 file from 1 website it gets to 99% the my pc Freezes. (this is the site apache friends - xampp for windows only happens when I try to download the .zip file 1) and I was looking at my CPU and Memory etc. in CPUz and noticed a odd thing about my Ram the 2 sticks are running at to different frequency and that it isn't in dual channel mode (I have a .TXT file from CPUz showing my info

Thanks in advanced

(if i need to add or attach any thing just let me now)

Oh, I see. Just a crash, not a BSOD. Here's a couple of stress tests you can run;

Test your RAM using Memtest86+. Let it run until 6-8 passes have completed or errors have been found.
RAM - Test with Memtest86+

Test your hardware using Prime95. Watch your machine's temps and stop the test if it starts to overheat. Let it run for up to 2 hours or until errors have been found.

OK well i did the Prime95 Test First and I was getting a little worried cuz the temp of my CPU was at 60c and my core was at 60c also (only ran for about 10 mins) and none had any errors tho

What type CPU cooler do you have? To test the CPU, Prime95 needs to run for several hours. I understand about shuting it down because of temps, but 10 minutes won't tell us anything. How about memtest? how long did that run? In the first post you said your memory was running at different speeds. Did you buy a matched set of ram? You should really run them in dual chanel and at the same speed. How about downloading CPUz, use the snipping tool and post screenshots of the CPU, Memory and SPD tabs.

Also, look in your hard drive at C:/windows/minidump and see if there are any files there. If they are, select them all and copy them. You'll have to provide administrator permissions, paste them to your desktop. Right click the file and select 'send to' then select compressed folder, then upload the Zip folder with your next post.

And if you are overclocking, stop and set everything in bios to optimized defaults.

The lock screen sees random freezes and a hard reset is required.
Hello, at random times the lock-screen freezes and a hard reset is needed. Keyboard light still toggle yet the SysReq + REISUB key combination does not do anything. Where is some syslog for checking why the kernel dumped and find potential solutions? This is windows 8.1, is this a known bug?

ndis.sys BSOD (timing seems random)
I get the BSOD every couple of weeks. Most of the research I've done indicated that it was probably an out of date driver, but I've updated everything I could (at least everything that I'm aware of). I can't pinpoint any specific activity that causes it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
