I recommend not even using CCleaner's registry cleaner. Normally, it is not too aggressive and it is okay to use, but I have seen it render a system completely useless to the point that Windows would not even start.
I recommend not even using CCleaner's registry cleaner. Normally, it is not too aggressive and it is okay to use, but I have seen it render a system completely useless to the point that Windows would not even start.
Windows has some nice cleaning tools:
- Disk Cleanup - Open and Use
- Disk Defragmenter Schedule- Turn On or Off (there are better command line methods to run the Windows defrag if you are interested)
- Optimize Windows 7
