BSOD on Windows 7 reboot, 6b error

I have had this issue for weeks and after countless hours of trying to fix it and figure out exactly what the problem is...I have now come to find some aid on this forum.

    Quick Overview of the issue:
I constantly get a Blue Screen error (BSOD) when starting up Windows 7; it always happens after showing the "Starting Windows" Disk Image and always gives me the same BSOD error. I am only able to get back into Windows by running the Startup Repair Tool (sometimes it takes more than one time to repair and even maybe a system restore).

After the most recent BSOD, I wrote down the error message I got upon logging into windows. It stated a BCCode: 6b. I have no idea what that means...

I have tried running a chkdsk and an sfc /scannow but have had no luck with either of those. I really need some help with this.

    System Basic Specifications:
    Windows 7 Home Premium OS
    Service Pack 1
    64-bit
    Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2410M CPU @ 2.30GHZ 2.30GHz
    6.00 GB RAM
    Manufacturer: Lenovo

I have attached the minidump files and the Resource Preformance HTML.

Any part of the disk subsystem can cause the PROCESS1_INITIALIZATION_FAILED bug check, including bad disks, bad or incorrect cables, mixing different ATA-type devices on the same chain, or drives that are not available becuase of hardware regeneration.
This bug check can also be caused by a missing file from the boot partition or by a driver file that a user accidentally disabled in the Drivers tab.

Does it do the same thing in safe mode (F8)?

Yes I have tried booting into Safe Mode as well and I get the same BSOD. The only way I am able to get back into Windows 7 is to run the Startup Repair Tool and/or do a System Restore.

I'd also like to add that whenever I insert a USB device (like a Flash Drive) it will attempt to install the Driver Software but will always fail. I have never had this happen before - a month ago my flash drive worked just fine and now I can't use it because the drivers wont install.

The error seems to be related to some part of the HD system. Just a thought but have you run a chkdsk?

As I have said in my original post, I have run the chkdsk and the sfc but haven't found any help.

The first time I ran chkdsk (both boxes were checked), I restarted the computer and it did its thing (Only saw a few lines of stuff before it went to the login screen). Directly after that, since I didn't see chkdsk really output any information for me, I decided to try it again. This time after restarting, I got the usual BSOD after the Windows 7 Disk Image...I didn't see any sign of chkdsk running. I had to do a startup repair to get back into Windows 7.

As for the sfc /scannow, I have ran it multiple times and I always get the same error message: "windows resource protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them"

Well there you go. If SFC was unable to fix it is time for a repair install. DO you have the win 7 DVD.

No I do not. My Windows 7 OS came with the laptop, I never received an actual disc. Do I have to do a Restore to Factory Settings? If so, how do I do that exactly? I really want to avoid having to format the drive if it isnt 100% certain that my computer will be fixed. Are the fact that my usb flash drives wont install related to the BSOD?

I looked around a little more on the internet and tried deleting the bootcat.cache file in C:\Windows\System32\CodeIntegrity. However, after restarting the computer once deleting that file...I still got the PROCESS1_INITIALIZATION_FAILED BSOD. Once again, I am back into Windows 7 simply by using the Startup Repair tool.

    What now?

Though it feels like hardware, it moght be time to start considering a clean install to eliminate software as the cause.
