    Several BSODs problem: irql rdr_fil system_thread bad_pool

Since a few months back my PC has been acting up. I've always had problems with the gfx-card, but a lot of people seem to have issues with their gigabyte 560Ti OC.

As for the gfx-card I had to down clock it and update BIOS. It's so so stable at the moment. I still get glitches in GFX-programs and some games. With the latest nvidia driver i even got PSOD(purple screen of death), but it seems to be a driver issue with this specific model from gigabyte. I have planned to go and RMA it but before I do that I want to make sure if the GFX-card is the root to my bsods.

So since a few months back I've been getting "random" bsods. Usually when I'm working with 3d-modelling applications but also a few instances when watching video.

I'm suspecting my external audio card since I've had problems(thou not bsod) with it on other rigs, and this is the first time I run it in a x64 environment.

I've attached the files needed(from the guidline post) to the post.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    System info:

    Win 7 Pro x64 retail
Computer built in august last year
OS reinstalled in november if I remember correctly

    System spec:
    CPU: intel i5 2500k
    RAM: 8 gig
    Motherboard model: (msi) P67A-C45
Sound card: (external firewire) Focusrite Saffire LE
    GFX: Gigabyte 560Ti OC

Most recent related to memory corruption after your computer was up for over two days straight. This by itself can cause crashes.

That having been said there are a few things that need to be addressed before we can investigate the true cause.

1-Avast. Remove and replace with MSE

Avast can be a contributing cause of BSOD'S . Please remove and replace with Microsoft Security Essentials AT LEAST TO TEST

    http://files.avast.com/files/eng/aswclear5.exe

Microsoft Security Essentials - Free Antivirus for Windows

    2-DTSOFTBUS01. A known cause of BSOD's.

Please remove any CD visualization programs such as Daemon Tools and Alcohol 120%.

They use a driver, found in your dmp, called sptd.sys, that is notorious for causing BSODs.

Use this SPTD uninstaller DuplexSecure - Downloads DuplexSecure - FAQ

when you're done you can use this Freeware:

MagicISO Virtual CD/DVD-ROM (MagicDisc) in its place

Using MagicISO to create ISO image files

    3-Suspect but no info

    ffSaffireLE_1394_x64.sys

If you continue to crash after these please upload the dmps and we can investigate further

I don't restart the computer very often, I guess I should shut it down at least once every day.

    1. I only installed Avast two days ago after the second last BSOD to scan for viruses, but I'll uninstall it anyway.

    2. I uninstalled Daemon Tools Lite with ccleaner then I downloaded the program you linked to. When I run it "uninstall" is greyed out, so perhaps ccleaner removed the driver for me?

Is it possible that my gfx-card is the source of these problems or can I rule it out for the time being?
Thanks a lot for the help!

    2. I uninstalled Daemon Tools Lite with ccleaner then I downloaded the program you linked to. When I run it "uninstall" is greyed out, so perhaps ccleaner removed the driver for me? You may have to re-install then remove with their un-install tool.

Is it possible that my gfx-card is the source of these problems or can I rule it out for the time being? Nothing in the current crashes points to the GPU
Thanks a lot for the help!
Lets wait and see if another crash occurs.

so the computer crashed again just now. I was playing a game when graphics started to glitch and audio suddenly began to crackle.
Then it all turned black and rebooted. No blue screen.
As far as I can tell this has never happened before. I'm going to disconnect the external audio card for now but I find it strange that it would start acting up now the last couple of months after functioning like normal for so long.
Oh and I did all the things you wrote before this happened.

How about uploading the event viewer logs?

Please provide us with your Event Viewer administrative logs by following these steps:

    Click Start Menu
Type eventvwr into Search programs and files (do not hit enter)
Right click eventvwr.exe and click Run as administrator
    Expand Custom Views
    Click Administrative Events
    Right click Administrative Events
Save all Events in Custom View As...
Save them in a folder where you will remember which folder and save as Errors.evtx
Go to where you saved Errors.evtx
Right click Errors.evtx -> send to -> compressed (zipped) folder
    Upload the .zip file here.

A lot of your errors relate to your Wacom Tablet device. I would recommend uninstalling the device drivers and installing the latest. Download the latest from Drivers | Wacom Americas

To fully re-install a driver, follow these general steps (sorry, I do not know where your Wacom device shows up in device manager, so I cannot provide more specific instructions):
    1. First, download the latest driver. Then do the next steps.
    2. Click Start Menu
    3. Right Click My Computer/Computer
    4. Click Manage
    5. Click Device Manager from the list on the left
    6. Find the device you are trying to uninstall by expanding the appropriate set of devices
    7. Right click the device
    8. Click Uninstall (do not click OK in the dialog box that pops up after hitting Uninstall)
    9. Put a tick in Delete driver software for this device (if this option is available, otherwise just hit OK) and hit OK
    10. Restart your computer only if Windows asks you to.
    11. Install the latest driver for the device.

    Alternatively:
    1. Login as an adminstrative user.
    2. First, download the latest driver. Then do the next steps.
    3. Click Start Menu
    4. Click Control Panel
    5. Click Hardware and Sound
    6. Click Device Manager (the last link under Devices and Printers)
    7. Find the device you are trying to uninstall by expanding the appropriate set of devices
    8. Right click the device
    9. Click Uninstall (do not click OK in the dialog box that pops up after hitting Uninstall)
    10. Put a tick in Delete driver software for this device (if this option is available, otherwise just hit OK) and hit OK
    11. Restart your computer only if Windows asks you to.
    12. Install the latest driver for the device.
