Probably caused by : 1394ohci.sys

It is your direct issue, and to get rid of it, see here: How to Revert the Win7 1394ohci.sys to the Legacy Driver
Or you may install a firewire card.

But, you need to Free up the startup , too.
  1. Click on the Start button
  2. Type “msconfig (without quotes), click the resulting link. It will open the System Configuration window.
  3. Select the “Startup” tab.
  4. Deselect all items other than the antivirus.
  5. Apply > OK
  6. Accept the restart.
Let us know the results.
I have completed above. Had to reselect some startup items, particularly keyboard/mouse, and backup. I still cannot shutdown or restart. It begins shutdown then freezes for some time. It will eventually crash. Can anyone help me with that problem? websearches seem to only bring up software apps.

Still having BSOD crashes, and the inability to shutdown. When I attempt to shutdown, it seems to get to the point of switching off the HDD, but then hangs until I do a hard shutdown. Here's the latest SF data.

I tried to examine the attachment after uploading it, but couldn't unzip it for some reason. Now it doesn't even appear on the message. Will try again now. Please let me know the outcome.

Hi folks. Am having problems with BSOD again. Still having problem with failure to shutdown. Here is todays SF diagnostic. Looks as if I am having some problem with Memeo Premium Backup (to external USB3 hard drive H). But there are probably other issues.

Update the firmware of your OCZ-VERTEX3 SSD.

For the discs other than the SSD, do some disc checks.
  1. Reseat the sata and power.
  2. Run chkdsk /f/r, following the option two of the tutorial Disk Check
  3. Seatool for dos: SeaTools | Seagate download
Burn it in a blank cd. boot from the CD, click on "Accept", wait for it to finish detecting the drives, then in the upper left corner select "Basic Tests", then select "Long Test" and let it run.
Marvell storage controllers. Always problematic, and it is very old here.
Code:
fffff880`010c0000 fffff880`0114f000 mvs91xx (deferred)

    Translations: 0000.04b0 0000.04e4 0409.04b0 0409.04e4
Uninstall the following in control panel > Programs and features.
Code:
Start Menu\Programs\Marvell
Start Menu\Programs\Marvell\91xx driver
Start Menu\Programs\Marvell Storage Utility
Then follow Drivers - Clean Left over Files after Uninstalling, clean up everything under Marvell.

Intel RST is also very old here.
Code:
fffff880`0125d000 fffff880`015ff000 iaStor (deferred)
    Image path: iaStor.sys

    Translations: 0000.04b0 0000.04e4 0409.04b0 0409.04e4
Download and install this version of Intel RST.

It is a desktop PC. Hibernate is not anything must for at, as it uses power from external source, not battery based. You can disable hibernate, and you should do it. Follow Hibernate - Enable or Disable.

Free up the startup.
  1. Click on the Start button
  2. Type “msconfig (without quotes), click the resulting link. It will open the System Configuration window.
  3. Select the “Startup” tab.
  4. Deselect all items other than the antivirus.
  5. Apply > OK
  6. Accept then restart.
Uninstall this program.
Code:
Start Menu\Programs\Spybot - Search & Destroy
It has compatibility issues with windows 7, in many a cases.

Also, if MacDrive is not the most essential, uninstall it. The mechanism to read a different file system may also cause some HDD\SSD malfunctioning.

Let us know the results.
