    Hi jengwei.

I play DotA 2 too. I had a similar problem which related to the Daemon Tools driver. Have you installed Daemon Tools recently? If yes, then try removing and then launching steam.
At what point do you get the BSOD? after launching steam or the game?

    YBL.
He doesnt, I checked. Good idea though.
Most probably Its a driver conflict, it would be helpful if he informs the instance where the BSoD occurs.
Its conflicting with the steam client or is it the game?

    YBL.
He has already been asked to run driver verifier specifically because of the conflict. He hasnt returned yet to tell us the results.

It seems more of a Hardware problem now, does your laptop experience heating problems? If the BSoD does not occur at a specific instance than its probably related to hardware.
Do you get BSoD's even when you are not playing ?

    YBL.

My recent dump files after I used the driver verifier. One of the BSOD occured before I used the driver verifier. After ticking the non microsoft drivers and restarting the computer, I went into Dota 2 to initiate the crash again. Yes it happened again, but this time i didn't get to collect the dump. I waited for at least 10 minutes before restarting my laptop again as the dump didn't progress. I got 2 more errors after the failed one and it's attached. occurred normally without having to even enter Dota 2.

Yea uh, after i restarted my computer because the verifier there stated so, i just did my normal things on the computer.

Non of these had driver verifier enabled, but all point to memory corruption.

Keep running verifier for 36 hours and upload any dmps

Recent 2 dumps. Both errors occurred when I was playing .tp files using WMP. I was sure this time when the 2 errors occurred my verifier was running.
