    Sorry i couldn't help you sort this sooner - what with easter and kids demanding some attention from me

    As sibbil mentioned, you disk might still be fixable, we just need to get it intilaised. As I was angling towards trying to format it in DISKPART. If you want to give that a go at some point, give me a shout.
