    BSOD, ntoskrnl.exe, error code 0x9F

hi, i just got this computer three days ago and everytime i shut the lid to let it to go sleep or standby, i open it back up the computer is off and when i boot it back on it comes up saying is bluescreened and always refers back to ntoskrnl. any help? fifth time this has happened. ive done extensive looking into everyone elses threads but has gone to no avail.

    crash dump file: C:\Windows\Minidump\040712-33711-01.dmp
This was probably caused by the following module: ntoskrnl.exe (nt+0x7CD40)
    Bugcheck code: 0x9F (0x3, 0xFFFFF980048B2A10, 0xFFFFF800047A33D8, 0xFFFFF9802CC28CF0)
    Error: DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE
    file path: C:\Windows\system32\ntoskrnl.exe
    product: Microsoft® Windows® Operating System
    company: Microsoft Corporation
    description: NT Kernel & System
Bug check description: This bug check indicates that the driver is in an inconsistent or invalid power state.
This appears to be a typical software driver bug and is not likely to be caused by a hardware problem.
The crash took place in the Windows kernel. Possibly this problem is caused by another driver which cannot be identified at this time

If this is a new computer, as in "never before owned", I would suggest taking it back to the store and exchanging it or having it repaired under the warranty agreement. Is there some reason why this is not an option?

Follow the https://www.sevenforums.com/crashes-d...tructions.html and we will take a look.

If it is just a driver issue, it is fixable. If it ends up being hardware, it will need to go back to be exchanged or repaired under the warranty. Any hardware work we might do could void the warranty. It appears to be a driver problem from the bugcheck, though.

I'm currently in the process of doing just that as instructed, and i know its windows 7 related as when it goes into sleep mode(or tries) it crashes. I am almost positive there is a patch for this; Will post the results from the processes soon. Thanks for the help so far.
