BSOD while trying to update drivers and windows on fresh install

I am having continuous issues with a BSOD. Here is a little basic info:
Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit (one week old install)
version of windows is a OEM upgrade (installed fresh from formatted hard drive)
Computer is about 2.5 years old.
Hard drive is 3 months old
RAM is one month old.

I am attempting to update windows via Windows Update. I have also tried to update drivers using Raxco software's Perfect Updater. I can't seem to keep the computer running long enough to get anything updated. Attached is the requested files. Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Test your RAM using Memtest86+. Let it run until 6-8 passes have completed or errors have been found.
RAM - Test with Memtest86+

Run an sfc/scannow command in an elevated command prompt at boot. If errors are found, run it twice more with each scan followed by a reboot.
SFC /SCANNOW : Run in Command Prompt at Boot

Run a chkdsk on the system partition to check for bad sectors or system errors.
Disk Check

This may be some sort of hardware issue hence the Memtest & chkdsk.

It sounds like a hardware issue to me. Checked your power supply for popped capacitors &/or the motherboard for the same. Oh, and I also had popped capacitors on an nVIDIA graphics card give me BSOD trouble a couple of months ago.
