Recent BSOD playing ME3 and SWTOR, multiple errors.

    Hi all,
So recently (being the last 2 weeks), while launching or playing games that had normally worked flawlessly I started receiving random BSOD. The first couple I dismissed as a random act of God or something and kept trucking on. They then became more frequent and I started to worry. After some trouble shooting I came to the conclusion that either A.) my registry was corrupted or B.) some drivers were corrupted somewhere. So I formatted the entire drive and did a fresh install of windows. This seemed to speed up my machine alittle as well and I considered the matter fixed. However, when loading up SWTOR today I recieved the BSOD for the bugcheck below. I do not have the dmp files from the other BSOD as they were lost in the format and I did not copy them like a fool. They were of the IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL, BAD_POOL_HEADER and "A Device driver attempting to corrupt the system" types if that helps any. Those are what led me to believe that a fresh install might fix the issue as I thought these all pointed to some form of driver or software. I also had Daemon tools on the old copy and I heard that and Windows 7 do not get along. This new BSOD has me worried that some hardware may be bad though. This new copy of Windows 7 has the latest video driver and all with MSE as the antivirus on it. If anyone is able to help me tie all these problems together and come up with some sort of solution if would be greatly appreciate. Thanks!

    Hi ghosthacker77, welcome to 7F! :)

Your file points to swtor.exe as being the culprit.

See if this link can offer some insight: SWTOR bugs and solutions
And for ME3: Fixing Mass Effect 3 (ME3)

While everything worked okay up until you reloaded swtor, I would think there is something wrong with it.
Do you have a purchased disk or are you downloading swtor from a web site?

It had worked without issue before a couple weeks ago. I do not have the disks. I download the launcher from the swtor site then it downloads the game. I will look into the links you provided.

So I decided to pull up SWTOR this morning and did not even get past the launcher when...

The 0x4e refers to: STOP 0x0000004E: PFN_LIST_CORRUPT. This is a Driver problem you can run this: Driver Verifier - Enable and Disable, but I would like you to refrain from running MME3, and especially SWTOR for several days while you use your machine just to see if it will BSOD.

If it doesn't, then there is something your machine doesn't like about those two game programs.
If it does, run the Driver verifier.
Please see this post for further information on memtest, and Driver Verifier: https://www.sevenforums.com/crashes-d...ml#post1874863, kudos to JMH!
At least run memtest there is a link for it in the memory diagnostics link below.

The _8d part is an unknown bug check, if your machine doesn't BSOD you can hold off on the following except for the SFC /scannow :

    • Apply all available Windows service packs and other updates.
    • Update drivers for your hardware.
    • Check the System and Application logs in Event Viewer for errors or warnings that might provide more clues on the cause of the STOP error.
    • If you made any changes to your hardware settings, return them to default in Device Manager.
    • If you made any changes to your BIOS settings, return them to their default levels.
    • Make sure all internal components are installed and seated properly.
    • Perform diagnostic tests on all hardware you're able to test. Here are two: HD Diagnostic, and Memory Diagnostics, and run SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker at least three times.
    • Start your PC with essential hardware only.

If you are running Avira, consider uninstalling it, and running MSE for testing purposes only!

It would help me to help you if you would run, and post the full BSOD report, if it happens again: https://www.sevenforums.com/crashes-d...tructions.html
