Long test please. Short test only spot checks the disk, so it's not really useful

Do the long test in Windows, or run it in DOS if you cannot run in Windows. http://www.seagate.com/ww/jsp/suppor...001340090aRCRD is the link for the DOS version.

The latest .dmp file is still pointing toward possible hard disk problems.

It appears to be a duplicate (I've never seen it before so I'm just guessing). I would run the long test on it also - just to make sure that this isn't a symptom of your problem.

usasma since i did the fix on the 1st drive detected wouldnt it be a better idea to play my game first to see if i get a bsod i can post the next minidump to see if it still points to my hard drive if this is the case i will run the test on the 2nd drive detected and try playing my game again hopefully bsod free.

I have had the duplicate drive issue. Both drives are the same. For some reason, Seagate is given two paths to the same drive and then thinks there are two drives. It is either a common bug in the Seagate software or in certain drivers for the hard disk controllers that come with some motherboards. Since it only seems to happen on some systems, I would assume it is driver/motherboard related more so than the Seagate software.

In short, I do not believe it is necessary to run the check again on the second drive. Once on either drive that shows up in SeaTools should be sufficient.
