Windows 7: BSOD scanning with malwarebytes

BSOD scanning with malwarebytes

Hi all,



When i scan with malwarebytes, and sometimes when doing something else, i get a BSOD. I would like this fixed and i hope you can help!

Before I even look at the crash dump, are you running a active antivirus in addition to running malwarebytes?
because that alone would be enough to cause a file filter lock up resulting in a blue screen.

I did run microsoft security essentials. Do u suggest to turn off security essentials and then start scanning?

yes, I suggest snoozing the active av, when scanning with the backup.
If this does not solve your problem I will have a look at the crash info in the debugger.
