    random reboots and BSOD


    Windows 7 ultimate 32bit the original installed OS on the system? yes - an OEM or full retail version? full version - What is the age of system (hardware)? 8 months - What is the age of OS installation (have you re-installed the OS?) 8 months obviously My computer is crashing randomly and i cant figure it out suddenly computer crashes and shows blue screen for seconds and then restart any prompt help is appreciated

    Easy your Kaspersky

    Kaspersky is a frequent cause of BSOD's. I would remove and replace it with Microsoft Security Essentials AT LEAST TO TEST.

    my kaspersky is the paid version
    can u recommend any other good antivirus and should i keep the default windows firewall or buy a new one? i am using kaspersky pure so the link to the remover you provided is not working

    Solely from a bsod perspective Microsoft Security essentials and the built in firewall. Plus I wold also have malwarebytes.
