All of the tests passed, any other thoughts?

Could be simple hard disk corruption due to the previous crashes. Run a Disk Check with Automatically fix file system errors checked. Post back the logs after using Check Disk (chkdsk) - Read Event Viewer Log to find them.

Hard disk check looks good. How is the system currently responding?

Everything is running perfectly, the only issues I have had is when I use that webcam. I wish I had another camera I could use to test that variable, but it's the only one I have that has 64-bit drivers. Oh, on that note: this camera worked fine on Windows XP and Windows 8 32-bit.

Have you tried uninstalling and re-installing the camera drivers?

Have you tried installing just the drivers without any of the camera's software that might come with the webcam?

Sorry for the silence, but I have finally found a solution to the problem. I'm kicking myself for not thinking of this earlier, but I decided to drop a USB PCI card into the machine. I've been on skype for nine hours and counting and it still hasn't crashed. I wonder if the same problem might be causing the issues I have been having with my mouse in one game... Anyway, thanks for all of your help!

Glad you found a solution, and thank you for posting what that solution was.

    Nice work!

Yeah, I'm just feeling really stupid because I hadn't thought of that before... Oh well, live and learn as they say.
