| Windows 7: BSODs during BF3 |

BSODs during BF3 I've been having intermittant problems with BSODs for awhile and they've said MemoryManagement and IRQ_Not_less mostly and recently have been "An unrecoverable hardware issue has happened"...
About a week ago I ran Windows memory diagnostic and it said the RAM was bad. I have ordered and installed new RAM, run memory diagnostic and is said the RAM was good.
I fired up BF3 and things were good for about 15 minutes before I crashed. To the hardware error BSOD. I did think that since making sure my drivers were updated recently I don't have my graphics card fan on 100% and so perhaps this could be heat related. Or the proc maybe because it's a stock fan and in the past it grew a dust sweater under the fan.
This windows install was fresh and occurred in 2009. This is on x86 32bit Windows 7.
Any help is really appreciated! | My System Specs |

When did you build the system and how long ago was the OS [clean] installed? Also, what version is your Catalyst? The latest 12.3 is notorious for random BSODs. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Less is more OS Windows 7 Ultimate x64 SP1 CPU Core i7 2600k (4.6GHz) Motherboard ASUS P8Z68 Deluxe (3603) Memory 16GB G.SKILL Ares 1600MHz Graphics Card MSI R6970 Lightning Sound Card Asus Xonar Essence ST (UNi drivers 1.41) Monitor(s) Displays Samsung P2570, Samsung 226BW Screen Resolution 1920*1080, 1680*1050 Keyboard CM Storm Trigger (Brown Switch) Mouse Logitech G400 PSU Seasonic X750 Case Lian-Li PC-P80N Cooling NZXT HAVIK 140 (2x GELID Wing12PL) Hard Drives 256GB OCZ Vector, Hitachi 4TB (7K4000), Hitachi 3TB (7K3000), Hitachi 2TB (5K3000), 2x WD Black 1TB Internet Speed 35Mbps/6Mbps Other Info Klipsch ProMedia 2.1, Sennheiser HD595, Linksys WRT54GL (DD-WRT), Logitech C910 |

I built this system in 2009. That was when it was installed. It's true things have seemed worse since 11.9ish... So you're saying I should driver clean 12.3 and go back to what? What are we seeing in the dump files so far? | My System Specs | | |

Security Software: ??? I recommend either of these two setups: Download and install the security setup of your choice, update the software, and then run a full scan of your system for viruses and malware. If you only install MSE, I would also suggest installing and updating Malwarebytes : Free anti-malware, anti-virus and spyware removal download, but do not start the free trial/full version of Malwarebytes. Run a full scan with Malwarebytes after updating it. Eliminated tracking cookies. I'm using MSE now. After the system was up for days and hadn't crashed since my last post here today I was playing about 30 minutes of BF3 resulted in another crash with unrecoverable hardware error. Attached is the latest crash dump.
PS I also removed my proc fan and cleared the dust sweater from the heatsink but even with cooler temps I've still crashed... I didn't check inside the Radeon I guess I can get to that until you guys respond. | My System Specs | | |

--------- You have the crash seen above: Stop 0x124 - what it means and what to try
To supplement that link, do the following hardware checks. - If you are overclocking any hardware, please stop.
- Monitor temperatures during the following tests.
Use the following programs to monitor the temperatures. - Run the boot version of Memtest86+ paying close attention to Parts 2 and 3 of the tutorial. Also, in case Memtest86+ misses anything and comes up with no errors, run the extended version of the Windows Memory Diagnostics Tool for at least five passes. These you may want to run overnight since they take a long time to complete (run them an hour before bed each of the next two nights and check before going to sleep that they are still running).
For Part 3: If You Have Errors: If you swap any memory components, follow these steps for ESD safety:- Shut down and turn off your computer.
- Unplug all power supplies to the computer (AC Power then battery for laptops, AC power for desktops)
- Hold down the power button for 30 seconds to close the circuit and ensure all power drains from components.
- Make sure you are grounded by using proper grounding techniques, i.e. work on an anti-static workbench, anti-static desk, or an anti-static pad. Hold something metallic while touching it to the anti-static surface, or use an anti-static wristband to attach to the anti-static material while working.
Once these steps have been followed, it is safe to remove and replace components within your computer.
To make sure the problem devices issues were resolved, please provide us with your msinfo32.nfo file. To get this: Start Menu -> Type msinfo32 into the Search programs and files box -> When it opens, go to File, Save -> Save as msinfo32.nfo and save in a place you will remember -> Let it finish the process of gathering and saving the system info -> Right click the .nfo file, click send to compressed (zipped) folder -> Upload the .zip file here.
Make sure you read through all of Stop 0x124 - what it means and what to try to learn about your crash and the steps to resolve it. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number HP Pavilion e9110t OS Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit CPU Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q9550 @ 2.83GHz Motherboard Pegatron IPIEL-LA3 Memory 6.00 GB Hundai HMT125U6BFR8C-H9 Graphics Card ATI Radeon HD 4850 Sound Card Realtek High Definition Audio/ATI High Definition Audio Monitor(s) Displays Acer AL2216W Screen Resolution 1680x1050 Keyboard HP Keyboard Mouse HP Mouse PSU Unknown/installed by HP Case HP generic case Cooling Intel Stock Cooling Hard Drives Hitachi HDP725050GLA360 ATA Device 500 GB Internet Speed Download: 19.15 Mbps Upload: 1.67 Mbps Other Info Network Adapter Realtek RTL8168D/8111D Family PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet NIC (NDIS 6.20)
