    Windows 7 Crash - Driver_IRQL_NOt_Less_Or Equal


    Dear,
    From the last 4-5 days , all of a sudden my laptop crashed and a blue screen comes up with the error -Drliver_IRQL_NOt_Less_Or Equal

    Pls help me and let me know what could be the reason and how can i resolve it?

    I have attached the dmp files and cmd screenshots.
    Pls help.

    There are a few issues here. All may be related to your Zone alarm. I would remove and replace it with MSE.

    I notice your PCTools which is often the cause of BSOD's. I would remove and replace with Microsoft Security Essentials AT LEAST TO TEST

    1-NETw5v32.sys (your network driver) is from April 2010 and should be updated.

    2-usbehci.sys. Your USB driver. It is from 2009 and should be updated.

    3-SP-1. Some/all of these may be fixed by updating to sp-1

    Please run the System Update Readiness Tool (SURT) and then update to SP-1
