Multiple BSOD using internet or playing Total War

Hi there, so I've had multiple BSOD over the past week. It seems most common when I try to play Total War, but it has also happened while I'm on the Internet as well. I have Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit Installed OEM and my laptop is about 1.5 years old. I'm a little concerned as to why this is happening so frequently so any help would be greatly appreciated!

PS, I really hope I followed the posting instructions alright, I'm not terribly computer savvy; if I need to change something, let me know.

These were related to NETw5s64.sys Wireless WiFi Link Driver from Intel Corporation. There may be other problems but I would first re-install the newest driver available.

    How To Find Drivers:
    - search Google for the name of the driver
    - compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to
    - visit the web site of the manufacturer of the hardware/program to get the latest drivers (DON'T use Windows Update or the Update driver function of Device Manager).
    - if there are difficulties in locating them, post back with questions and someone will try and help you locate the appropriate program.
    - - The most common drivers are listed on this page: Driver Reference Driver Reference

Alright, so I updated my driver and I started playing Total War but after about 1.5 hours it shut down with BSOD. Also, I'm not quite sure how to post the new crash info, should I use the program used by jcgriff2 again? Thanks in advance for the help!

All we really need after the first Jcgriff is the dmp files.

We do need the DMP file as it contains the only record of the sequence of events leading up to the crash, what drivers were loaded, and what was responsible.

    If you are overclocking STOP

We could also use some system information, which you can get easily by running msinfo32.
To do that go to start>run>type msinfo32>enter

When it is finished running go to file>save>name it and upload to us here.

You may be able to get the DMP files without crashing by booting into safe mode (F8) with networking.

To enable us to assist you with your computer's BSOD symptoms, upload the contents of your "\Windows\Minidump" folder.

    The procedure:
    * Copy the contents of \Windows\Minidump to another (temporary) location somewhere on your machine.
    * Zip up the copy.
    * Attach the ZIP archive to your post using the "paperclip" (file attachments) button.
*If the files are too large please upload them to a file sharing service like "Rapidshare" and put a link to them in your reply.
    To ensure minidumps are enabled:
    * Go to Start, in the Search Box type: sysdm.cpl, press Enter.
    * Under the Advanced tab, click on the Startup and Recovery Settings... button.
    * Ensure that Automatically restart is unchecked.
    * Under the Write Debugging Information header select Small memory dump (256 kB) in the dropdown box (the 256kb varies).
    * Ensure that the Small Dump Directory is listed as %systemroot%\Minidump.
    * OK your way out.
    * Reboot if changes have been made.

Virtually all of these relate to win logon.

Please run a system file check and malware bytes

SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker

How to use the System File Checker tool to troubleshoot missing or corrupted system files on Windows Vista or on Windows 7

Please download the free version of Malwarebytes.
    Update it immediately.
    Do a full system scan
Let us know the results at the end.

I did the system scan and I think it worked because on the final line of the CBS text it says, "2012-05-01 10:25:51, Info CSI 000002df [SR] Verify and Repair Transaction completed. All files and registry keys listed in this transaction have been successfully repaired"

I also ran the malware software and updated the final results.

However still haven't tried to play Total War after taking these steps, do you think it would be safe to try now?

Alright so I tried things out again and now rather than going to Blue Screen my computer will just shut down, without explanation. If I reboot the computer immediately it sometimes leads me to the BSOD, but if I wait a few minutes before rebooting it opens Windows normally. Also, I tried playing Mass Effect 2 and a similar thing happened...

Any ideas? I am completely lost.
