Have you tried re-installing the Hummingbird application? A full uninstall of the application, and then install from a clean source. Either download it directly from the company, or make sure your installation media (cd, dvd, usb, etc.) is clean (has no scratches, dust, etc.). To clean a CD or DVD, make sure to clean from the middle out in straight lines with a lint-free, non-abrasive material. There are CD/DVD cleaning cloths available at electronics stores or even Target/Walmart. Find a Youtube video for technique.
If the installation media is an executable or on USB, make sure the install file is intact and not corrupted. Obtain it again if possible.
