It sounds like your PSU is failing. Have you tried replacing it?

No, I was thinking that as well, but power still reaches the motherboard as the indicator light stays lit. I'm already out some cash for the video card I didn't need, so I really need to be sure that there is a problem with a component before I can really justify dropping more money into it as a test. The problem also could be the motherboard as well couldnt it? Also, I flashed BIOS via the guide when troubleshooting, although it said it was successful, this started happening constantly after that, when it was only very occassional before.

Is there a way for me to really see if its the PSU or the motherboard without buying new components and putting them in? Because right now, its not an option and so I'm left with just a very expensive paperweight with no way to turn it on to further troubleshoot.

I appreciate the help so far, even if my posts may come across as negative.

I understand the frustration. Do you have any friends who have desktop PCs and might be willing to lend you a PSU?

None I could use that would be able to handle the components of my computer unfortunately. Will keep looking though, hopefully I can find something.

What about a nearby store or an online store that would allow you to return a PSU for a refund if it did not resolve the problem?
