BSOD, New Laptop, primarily when playing COD MW3 or Battlefield 3

    Hi,

I am hoping for some help

I am having BSOD issues when playing COD MW3, and Battlefield 3.

The BSOD wont happen at all one day and then I might get several the next.

I have run 2 memory tests without any errors (but only run through once each without an issue).

I ran the memtest 86+ last night and left it going all night, in the morning the PC had rebooted (I am not sure if something is wrong when this happens?)

I have attached a compressed file with the relevant information.

    My System (laptop):

    P180HM
    Intel i7-2760QM
    12GB 1600Mhz
    120GB Intel 520 SSD
    2x 6990M
    750gb 7200rpm Secondary Drive
    Intel Advanced-N 6230 Wireless + Bluetooth
    DVDRW
    Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit

    Software Installed:

    Windows 7 (OEM) SP1 installed
    Norton 360
    Office 2010
Uniblue Powersuite (to update all my drivers, etc)
    Rainmeter
    Battlefield 3
    COD MW3
    Sniper Elite 2

    The Errors:

I forgot to mention. I have had 2 BSOD issues when doing nothing other than browsing basic websites (eg bigpond news).

Yes a reboot during Memtest86+ indicates a hardware fault of some type. Is your system still under warranty?

Looks like you found the culprit. Even one error in Memtest86+ is one too many and requires a RAM replacement. Best to do so under warranty and let your supplier handle it. :)
