Stole my Wife's USB Keyboard and that did the trick - My Wireless Logitech keyboard didn't have a dedicated Scroll Lock Key, had to press the Fn Key plus Pause|break and the computer didn't recognize it.

Did it resolve or alleviate the issue? If not, you can return it to normal. I just had a hunch on it. I'm gonna look at the crashdump here shortly.

It did not solve it

Forced Crashdump was created after disabling the previews. Crashdump was created because the download still stalled out. I have verified it still stalls on multiple files on multiple servers.

I've been perusing the crashdump. It'll take some time since I have to meander through all your I/O n stuff. I'll get back with you on anything I may find.

Sorry man, I'm getting progress but I haven't been able to scrutinize the kernel dump much lately due to RL stuff, plus a couple others have given me their kernel dumps so I got a lotta analyzin to do. I still wanna see this through though because it fascinates me and it's a very unusual case, so I'll learn a lot from it, but it won't be speedy resolution I'm afraid. Pardon!

Take your time. I am on vacation til Monday and won't be near my home computer til then. Relax, take your time.

Always better to do something slowly and correctly then rushed and half-assed.

I'm still working on it off-and-on. Unfortunately, either the timing isn't right on this or I'm overlooking something, or I just don't have the expertise to deal with this. There are suspect items that I can list that you can deal with. I'll write em down later.

Also, the whole holiday week thing has kinda made things busy for me on other things so I haven't had that much time to work on this as I'd like.

Ok, I can only give an overview of what I've found that are trending patterns. It confirms what I've found odd which I described here regarding your local network stuff (like file-sharing, printers, etc.).

In both your latest logs your connection dies for a bit during it, and in both gaps is what looks to be UPnP (Universal Plug & Play) activity. This same activity also occurs immediately after each download connection is lost for both logs. This relates to the driver delays I'm seeing involving mup.sys, mrxsmb.sys, etc. So overall, something involving network file-sharing and the like has to be suffering. I unfortunately could not garner anything worthwhile from the kernel dump as I don't have anything specific to latch onto for further analysis.

All-in-all, I suspect either UPnP is the problem, or something is bugging out when UPnP is pushed through it (like antivirus software). We can try and verify this by turning off UPnP/SSDP on both your PC and the router. To turn it off on your PC, you'll want to go to Services (type it in Start Menu) and disable both SSDP Discovery and UPnP services then restart the PC. As for the router, look for any settings on it that have to do with SSDP and UPnP and disable em. Restart the router when you do so.

There may be adverse side effects of this, such as not being able to see other PCs/printers on the network. Confirm if there are. Also make sure it actually puts a dent in your problem. If it doesn't, I'm not sure what to do from there. I can give you a list of things to do as I intended at first, but it's all just shooting in the dark from here on if that ends up being the case. If it does work, but you aren't liking the limitations for local networking it brings, then we'll work down from there to stuff related to UPnP on your router/PC to see if we can isolate just what is doing this.

I apologize for the ridiculous time between my replies.

Only Anti Virus on my computer is Microsoft Security Essentials.

Regarding other computers and printers on the network -

I have a Wireless printer on my network that I would need access to. I have my work laptop wife's computer and a PS3 on the same network but I don't necessarily need networking between the other assets.

I can play with the UPnP tomorrow when I have time to myself.

I have toyed with buying a new mobo as it seems bizarre to have all these issues... Can you recommend an alternative mobo to my current GA-Z68AP-D3 that would work with the rest of my components? (system specs are up to date)
