| | yea i do chkdsk all the time, usually finds lots (and i mean, LOTS) of errors and fixes them, but they just come back :\ even when there are no errors the freezes still happen edit: now i remember i had a driver_power_state_failure bsod while running the long chkdsk scan, i tried running it again after that and it completed without bsod |

| | try to get get it to blue screen with chkdsk and post mini dump here. The more info from you the better.
