Bluescreen on boot up - Netio.sys related?

Hoping someone might be able to help,

Second time I've been troubled by BSOD on this computer (first was this time last year) but I think they're unrelated.

I had a problem a couple of weeks ago, several bluescreens in a row after rebooting, put it in safe mode and it started normally again. After a few repeats I decided to find help. I thought the first might have happened the day after a microsoft update.

Occasionally get bluescreen forced restarts but everything works fine afterwards.

Can anyone shed any light on this? I've attached the details as advised.

Netio.sys related crashes are often the installed Malware app and in your case that is true. Your McAfee was the proximate cause.

McAfee is a frequent cause of BSOD's. I would remove and replace it with Microsoft Security Essentials AT LEAST TO TEST!

Thanks for responding. Just so I can be sure, you think uninstalling mcafee should do the trick?
